Broken and Beautiful was given the “Project We Love” distinction from the folks at Kickstarter! We’re thrilled. If you needed further validation that you’ve made a good decision to join the campaign, there it is.

Stretch Goal 1 Voting Results

Results from the first survey were pretty overwhelming!

Backers chose to use the first 12,000 Gold from the campaign’s ledger to upgrade Broken and Beautiful’s resource markers. The Standard Edition will now have wooden cubes, and the Deluxe Edition will now have metal cubes.

Next Stretch Goal Options

For the campaign’s second stretch goal, three options are possible. As always, each one upgrades both editions:

Upgrade the Resource Markers

  • Upgrade the Standard Edition from wooden cubes to wooden ingots
  • Upgrade the Deluxe Edition from metal cubes to metal ingots

Upgrade the First Player Marker

  • Upgrade the Standard Edition from a plain wooden disc to a screen printed disc
  • Upgrade the Deluxe Edition from a plain wooden disc to a metal disc

Upgrade the Box

  • Add spot UV to the box
  • Add foil stamping to the box

You can check the Gold Ledger at any time to see how much Gold the campaign's backers have to spend at any given time. (Backers can "spend ahead," if they elect to, under the assumption that more Gold will be earned in the future.)

Balloting will close at about 1:30 PM Central time on Friday, April 22, with results reported in a backer update later that day.

Stretch Goal Voting

Voting on the direction of the first stretch goal is still live. If you're a recent backer, jump back to Backer Update 1 and cast your vote for the first pair of stretch goals you want the campaign to unlock. (Alert backer David Chart noticed that we put the wrong month into the first survey's cutoff time. Voting will actually end today at about 2:00p Central time. Whoops!)
